Mammootty's much-awaited film 'Mamangam' has finally hit the screens yesterday. Featured in Malayalam cinema as the biggest budget films of all time, the Veenu Kunnapilly Bangkok film has received a massive debut in box-office collections and has also received positive reviews.

Looking at its hype, recent reports suggest that the film has crossed the 23 million mark worldwide. The film starring Mammootty, which tells the story of the Mamanagam festival, has been well received by the audience. With more than 400 screens in Kerala, with no less than 4 shows a day in individual centers, the film has earned around Rs 7 crore in Kerala. From 2000 screens worldwide, the worldwide box office collection has crossed Rs 23 crore. Taking to its social media handle, the film's producer Veenu Kunnapili has confirmed that the film has crossed 23 crores by this morning. Proud for the achievement, he also said that the film was seriously backtracking. Saying that he is not taking the offenders seriously, Kunnapili said that he was thankful that the two-year journey had come to a pleasant conclusion.
