CM Mamta claims 'Bengal is ahead in health sector in entire country'

Kolkata: West Bengal CM and Trinamool Congress supremo Mamata Banerjee made a big announcement today, saying that the health infrastructure in the state has improved a lot in the last few years. Inaugurating the Mother and Child Hub at Chittaranjan Seva Sadan Hospital in Kolkata, Mamata Banerjee has said that hospitals across the state have been upgraded to international standards.

Mamata Banerjee has further said that Bengal is the top country in the health sector. The government has also developed the necessary infrastructure. West Bengal has also done an excellent job in dealing with the coronavirus crisis. Banerjee said that West Bengal is the only state to provide free ration, free health care and free education to its people. 10 crore people have been provided with the Health Partner Card in the state.

CM Mamata Banerjee has also told during this time that there has been an increase in health care centers in the state. There are 17 Mother and Child Hubs and 43 Multi-Specialty Hospitals. Banerjee has said that hospitals across the state have been upgraded as per international standards. Assembly elections are proposed in Bengal this year.
