KOLKATA: West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has mentioned that she was not meeting the Prime Minister separately during her Delhi visit.

"There is no possibility of separately meeting Prime Minister Narendra Modi during my 4-day visit to New Delhi and Rajasthan, beginning from Monday," the Chief Minister told the reporters at Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose International Airport in Kolkata before leaving for the national capital on Monday afternoon.

Mamata said that she will be attending the chief ministers meeting at the Rashtrapati Bhavan late Monday evening which has been convened by the Prime Minister to talk over India's hosting of the G20 summit next year.

"I'll speak with the prime minister there briefly. However, there is no chance this time to meet with the Prime Minister separately "said the chief minister. She also omitted any information about the likelihood that she would meet with other party leaders during her visit.

Mamata Banerjee has already mentioned that she will attend the meeting in the Rashtrapati Bhavan as the national president of the All India Trinamool Congress, not as the chief minister of West Bengal.

She is scheduled to travel to Rajasthan on Tuesday to see Pushkar Lake and Ajmer Sharif, two renowned desert holy sites. "I set up the railroad connection to these two sacred locations when I served as the Railways minister. I've wanted to go to these two destinations for a very long time, and this time I'll be able to "Ahead of departing for New Delhi, the chief minister said.
