Kolkata: In West Bengal, the differences between Governor Jagdeep Dhankar and Trinamool Congress (TMC) have started appearing on the road. On Saturday, TMC activists in Howrah protested the government and showed them black flags and banners. On these banners it was written, 'Shame governor.' At the same time, Bengal's Planning and Statistics Minister Tapas Roy says that Governor Jagdeep Dhankar is not mentally sound.

He said this while attending a party program at Kakinada in North 24 Parganas district on Saturday. Roy said, 'The Governor is working as per the instructions of PM Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah. The governor was sent by him only. He also said that in the context of the way in which the Governor attacks Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee, I have to say that the Governor is not right. You can call them mentally ill. He seems mentally handicapped and such a person has been sent as a constitutional head in our Bengal.

Let us tell you that for the Governor Jagdeep Dhankhar, the case of keeping the VIP Gate of the Assembly closed on Thursday. BJP national general secretary and in-charge of West Bengal, Kailash Vijayvargiya, attacked the Mamata Banerjee government and said that the Constitution of Babasaheb in the state was flying away and Mamata Banerjee's unwritten constitution has been implemented there.
