Kolkata: Looking at the assembly elections in West Bengal, the Trinamool Congress has released a list of 291 candidates. The party is contesting 291 seats only. People close to Mamta have told that Didi considers her lucky day on Friday. That is why they have chosen this day to announce the candidates. In the years 2011 and 2016 also Mamta Banerjee had announced the candidates on Friday from TMC Bhavan itself.

CM Mamta Banerjee said that she will contest from the Nandigram assembly seat. It is believed that here he will have a direct competition with Suvendu Adhikari, but this will be clear after the list of BJP candidates is released. Sowanadeb Chattopadhyay will be in the fray from his traditional Bhawanipur seat. According to the information, the names of 291 candidates are on the TMC list. In this, 100 new faces have been given a chance. At the same time, 50 women and 42 Muslims are also being fielded.

Mamta Banerjee said that we gave tickets to the candidates, which the public likes. However, some people have not received tickets. He said that I will try to give him a chance in the Legislative Council elections. Mamta Banerjee said that this time the existing 27-28 MLAs have not been given tickets. These include many ministers. He says that the party has given an opportunity to the faces of every caste and community in the elections. He asked all the candidates to increase public relations. Also, emphasized improving the performance of the 2019 Lok Sabha elections.
