Kolkata: West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee has targeted the Modi government at the Center for the JEE-NEET exam. She has said that 75 per cent of the state's candidates are not able to participate in the entrance exam for admission in medical and engineering colleges. Mamata Banerjee, while targeting the central government, claimed that only 25 per cent of West Bengal students could not appear for the JEE exam held on Tuesday and for this the 'arrogance' of the central government is responsible.

CM Mamata has said that "Students are in great difficulty. Many of them have not been able to take the exam of JEE. Therefore, we had requested the apex court to re-review the case so that the students can get justice". She said that her government had made all the arrangements for the students, but on Tuesday only 1,167 children took the exam while a total of 4,652 students were to appear in this examination. "

Mamata Banerjee said, "It means that only 25 per cent of the students in West Bengal has given the exam, while 75 per cent could not appear for the exam. We (according to the instructions of the central government) had made arrangements." The Trinamool Congress (TMC) supremo targeted the central government and said, "What would have gone wrong if the exam was postponed for a few more days? Why is it so much ego? Why are you (central government) so stubborn? Who gave you the right to destroy the future of the students? "
