New Delhi: West Bengal CM and Trinamool Congress (TMC) supremo Mamata Banerjee made a statement on the 2024 Lok Sabha elections in Delhi on Wednesday, July 28. CM Mamata said, "In 2024, khela hobe all over the country.'' Mamata Banerjee is meeting several opposition leaders during her five-day visit to Delhi. Mamata Banerjee says the opposition will be stronger and create history than the BJP in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.
CM Mamata has said that the next election will be 'Modi vs the entire country.' According to media reports, Mamata Banerjee on questions from the press said, "We will talk to the parties. There should be a platform from where we go together. After the Parliament session, all the parties will sit together and discuss.' It may be recalled that amid the ongoing controversy between the Centre and the Opposition over several other issues, including the Pegasus espionage case, Banerjee said, 'We want to see 'true days,' have seen 'good days' a lot.'
In a meeting with the Interim Congress President, CM Mamata said the opposition wants solidarity. She said the Congress should trust the regional parties and the regional parties should trust the Congress. Mamata said she has had a good meeting with Rahul and Sonia Gandhi. They feel that it will yield positive results in the future. She said, "It is necessary for everyone to come together to defeat the BJP. Alone, I don't have anything. Everybody has to work together. I am not a leader. I am a cadre. I'm a personage standing on the street.''
