Kolkata: Investigation of CID has started in Murshidabad blast case of West Bengal. Initial investigation reveals that explosives are kept in a bag. According to CID sources, the explosive in a black bag was probably placed at platform number 2. During this time, the light on the number 2 platform was also quite low. Minister Zakir Hussain was threatened when he arrived.

CID is investigating whether the attackers knew beforehand that Zakir Hussain would go through this platform. According to an eyewitness Ejaz Hussain, who himself is injured in the attack, he saw a bag on the platform and exploded while removing it. No arrest has been made in the case so far. The CID team reached the spot and got involved in the investigation. Investigations are being conducted with the help of Dog Scod and Bomb Disposal Squad. It is being ascertained by taking a sample, what the explosion was like. However, the primary estimate so far is that of crude bombs. Meanwhile, CM Mamata Banerjee has met Minister Zakir Hussain in Kolkata.

CM Mamata Banerjee alleges that the blast was carried out in Murshidabad through remote control. Mamata said that she has received information that the blast was carried out by remote. She put the railway in the dock and said that it is the responsibility of the railway, the light was low and the RPF was not there.
