West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee on Wednesday attacked the BJP claiming that the party wants to change the history of many places in line with its agenda. the TMC chief said the BJP will implement a "totalitarian regime" in which it will decide what people should eat and what to wear. Banerjee said at an election rally, "He (BJP) has changed the names of many stations. He named the cricket stadium after the PM. The day is not far when they will change your name and ours as well.''

However, they cannot mention the name of railway stations or any place.  It is also being said that 91 seats in 3 phases have gone to polls in West Bengal assembly elections and now the remaining 203 seats are being held in the next five phases. The areas where voting has been held so far in the state are a part of the south Bengal region.

It is very important for the TMC to preserve Mamata Banerjee's strong stronghold: According to the information received, there are many areas in the remaining 5 phases that are said to be Mamata Banerjee's strong stronghold, which is very important for TMC to save, as in many places in the next phase, they will have to join hands not only with the BJP but also from the Congress-Left alliance. That is why the forthcoming elections are considered to be the most important challenge for Mamata. That is why Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has put all her might into the remaining five phases of elections.
