Kolkata: The country is still in the polls, with West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee starting her election campaign in a wheelchair from today. Mamata Banerjee has been on the road for the first time after the injury. Mamata arrived at the Gandhi statue of Kolkata in a wheelchair and started her roadshow from here to Hazra. Mamata is walking in a wheelchair. There are supporters in huge figures behind him. CCTV cameras have been installed at different locations and the police force has been deployed.

Before the roadshow, Mamata tweeted, "We will continue to fight fearlessly. I am still in a lot of pain, but I feel the pain of my people even more. We have suffered a great loss in this dispute to protect our land. We will suffer more now, but we will never bow down. "Mamata was discharged from SSKM Hospital on Friday evening after getting treatment for the injury caused by electioneering in Nandigram on March 10.

After the roadshow today, Mamata can visit Purulia city tomorrow. While the Trinamool chief has a strategy to address two public meetings-one in the Jhalda area of Bagmandi and the other at Rathtala Maidan in Balrampur. Chief Minister Mamata will visit all these cities by helicopter. But she will be sitting in a wheelchair because her leg injury has not been completely cured. Banerjee was hurt in the leg due to an election campaign in Nandigram on Wednesday evening. Mamata Banerjee paid homage to the agitators killed in police firing in Nandigram in 2007 on Sunday.
