Mamata Banerjee recently said, 'There is no place for outsiders in West Bengal. Especially those who come only during the election and do violence'. Recently, Mamata targeted BJP without naming it. She said, 'There is a lot of uproar in many places in West Bengal. Outsiders are committing violence here. Such people have no place here.' She had also targeted BJP earlier.

She had challenged the BJP saying, "she will ensure the victory of the Trinamool Congress, even if she is sent to jail." This was said during a rally in Bankura district. She also said, 'BJP is not a political party, but it is just a 'waste of lies'.' She further said, "If there is courage in BJP, let them arrest me. I will ensure the victory of Trinamool in the elections from jail itself. Let me tell them clearly that I am not afraid of them and their agencies. You have to remember one thing that they are outsiders. They will loot Bengal when they come to power. That is why they have tied up with the Congress and the Communist Party of India in Bengal. "

Mamata further said, 'BJP has no chance of coming to power in the state'. She also said, "We will come to power once again with the mandate of the people of Bengal." She also mentioned Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief and former Bihar Chief Minister Lalu Prasad and said, 'Despite being jailed, his party has done well in the recently concluded Bihar assembly elections.
