Kolkata: Assembly elections are proposed in West Bengal next year. In this situation, the ruling Trinamool Congress (TMC) and the opposition have intensified their campaign in the state. In this sequence, Mamata Banerjee, CM and TMC Supremo of the state addressed an election rally in Bankura in the state. At the rally, she accused the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) that it is asking TMC MLAs to change the party by luring money.
At Bankura rally, Mamata accused the BJP that the BJP is giving money to TMC MLAs so that they leave the party and join the BJP. She said, "if there is courage in BJP, arrest me. I will also ensure the victory of the Trinamool Congress in the Bengal Assembly elections from jail." CM Mamata Banerjee said that BJP is a bundle of lies and the biggest curse of the nation.
Earlier, Mamata had also targeted Amit Shah on Bengal tour. Shah, who recently visited Bengal, had food at the home of an Adivasi, but Mamata says that the food was not made at the home of that tribal family but was called from a five-star hotel. Shah then garlanded a statue and described it as a statue of the tribal Janarayak Birsa Munda but Mamata says that it was a statue of a tribal hunter and not of Munda.
