The case that has come up recently is astonishing. This matter is from Kochi district of Kerala. Where a man allegedly slapped his 54-day-old girl and threw her on the cot. Now after that the girl has suffered serious head injuries and her condition is critical. Police has given information in this matter. Police say that Shaiju Thomas (40), who belongs to Nepal, has been arrested on the basis of his wife's complaint.

Further, the police also said that a case has been registered against him under various sections including Indian Penal Code 307 and the Juvenile Justice Act. In this case, he said that the girl is admitted in the ICU of a private medical college in Kolencherry and her condition is serious because her brain has been damaged. Police say that temperamental and alcohol-addicted Thomas by nature was suspicious of the paternity of the child and probably that is why he attacked her. Further, police also informed that the condition of the girl admitted in the hospital is critical.

The girl was admitted to the ICU of a private hospital in nearby Kolencherry after being beaten on Thursday. The girl has had seizures many times and the next 24 hours are important for her. Now the police, in this case, questioned accused Shaiju Thomas (40) and arrested him based on the statement of his Nepali wife.
