Coimbatore: A case of missing a eight year old boy has been reported in the police station as his family members couldn't find him after he went for the haircut. The incident is of Wednesday and after it his father filed a complaint.

The kidnapper called the family members and asked them to give Rs 40,000 in exchange of the boy. He also warned them to not inform about it to the Police officers.

Police on investigation interrogated one of his father's colleague who then  confessed of kidnapping the innocent boy and arrested him from Madurai district.
