Mumbai: A man was arrested in Pune last Monday for making a fake bomb threat to the Mumbai ministry. The person used to make such threats through email. According to the Mumbai Police, an investigation was launched after receiving the threat through email. It was then found that the threat was fake. A case has been registered at Marine Drive police station in Mumbai in the entire case. The accused has been taken into custody in Ghorpandi area of Pune and will now be handed over to Mumbai Police soon. It is also being said that he will be produced before the court today itself.

Now, when it comes to corona infection in Maharashtra, 6,270 new cases of Covid-19 were reported here on Monday, the lowest number of new cases reported in a day during the last four months. With this, the total number of infection cases in the State has increased to 59,79,051. The death toll due to the epidemic is said to have risen to 1,18,313.

Recently, the State Health Department has released the data. According to these figures, 6,218 new cases of infection were reported on February 23 and the lowest number of cases have been reported since then. In fact, with 13,758 patients free from infection in the last 24 hours, the number of people who have overcome the deadly virus in the state has increased to 57,33,215. The number of patients under covid-19 treatment in the state is 1,24,398 and the rate of recovery of patients is now 95.89 per cent, while the mortality rate is 1.98 per cent.
