Ujjain: A 26-year-old youth committed suicide after his live-in partner refused to marry him. Police said Gopal Sharma (26) resident of Panwasa committed suicide by consuming poisonous substance.

As per reports Gopal was in live-in relationship with his friend Ajay Sisodiya’s mother Seema for 2 years. Gopal’s kin rushed him to a hospital but he died while undergoing treatment. On being informed police reached Gopal’s residence and sent his body to hospital. Gopal’s brother Mankchand told that Gopal hails from Agar and since last 4 years he was living and employed in Ujjain. Ajay also revealed that Gopal and his friend’s mother were in relationship and she has borrowed Rs 1.15 lakh from Gopal which she later paid off.

Ajay further told that Gopal was pressurizing the woman to marry but she refused his proposal. Police have recovered a suicide note from Gopal’s room in which Gopal accused Seema of not returning the money taken by her. Gopal also alleged that Seema cheated him in love and therefore he is committing suicide. A case has been registered and further probe is on.
