Patna: An engineering student has committed suicide by hanging himself.  It is assumed that the reason behind his suicide is that he scored low marks in his previous examination. The incident is of Sivapuri area of Gardanibagh police station. In connection with the incident, it was reported that Ashutosh Kumar, a 17-year-old son of Gopal Prasad, a resident of Shivpuri, found hanged to a ceiling fan in his room. 

The family also said that "on Wednesday evening, he went to his room and closed the door from inside and didn't came out of the room for long. when he didn't came out, parents and other family members started knocking at his door" Even after that, when he didn't respond, they looked through the window and they found him hanged, "Ashutosh had scored very low marks and was very unhappy about it."

As per the information received in the case, the in-charge of the Gardanibagh police station reached the spot and sent the body for post mortem. This is not the first case which is reported there are several others.
