Aurangabad: A person belonging to the Maharashtra health department was taken into custody last Monday for illegally selling the anti-covid-19 vaccine in the Sajapur area of the Aurangabad district. This has been informed by the police. A police official recently said that the accused was selling vaccine supplements in a room 20-25 km away from The Value Primary Health Centre. At the same time, he added, "He was taken into custody on the basis of confidential information.''
Talking to a news channel about the case, Inspector Madhukar Sawant of MIDC Waluz police station said, "We have recovered an empty vial of covishield vaccine and new and used syringes. We have recovered a list of 10 people whom he vaccinated. Investigation revealed that he used to contact contractors in the industrial area here and inoculate at the rate of Rs.300 per dose.”
Inspector Madhukar Sawant also said, "The accused has been taken into custody and the process of registering a case is underway.''
