Man detained in Bihar for creating a fake Amit Shah Facebook account

PATNA: A guy has been arrested by the Gopalganj police for allegedly creating a fake Facebook ID of Union Home Minister Amit Shah and making derogatory remarks on former Baikunthpur MLA Mithilesh Tiwari.

Tiwari reported the event to the Mohamadpur police on Sunday, which led to the discovery of the occurrence. Vicky Kumar Singh was apprehended by the police after an inquiry.

Anand Kumar, SHO of Mohamadpur police station, said, "We have apprehended a person named Vicky Kumar Singh from Devkali village."  Following Vicky's arrest, Manjeet Singh, a former JD-U MLA, reached to Mohamadpur with his followers and staged a dharna. Vicky was then freed by the police after posting a bond at the station. 

According to sources, Manjeet Singh and Mithilesh Tiwari are fierce rivals. Vicky was arrested without a FIR being filed against him, according to Manjeet Singh.
