Hyderabad: One person died after being hit by a vehicle in Manoharabad. One person died on the spot when the convoy of Telangana Assembly Speaker Pocharam Srinivas Reddy rammed into the vehicle at Kallakal in Manoharabad mandal, police said. He was identified as Narasimha Reddy, an employee of a private firm. It is suspected that the driver of the car was negligent in the accident. More details about the incident are awaited.

Three people were killed in two other similar accidents. According to Jamkari received, two people were killed when a bike rammed into a brick-laden lorry near Eragadda metro station late on Sunday night. The accident took place when the victims were on their way from Erragadda to Moosapet. Police reached the spot on the information of passers-by and got the bodies kept in the hospital mortuary.

A case has been registered. In the second case, a person died after being hit by a lorry in Gadisingapur of Parigi Mandal of Vikarabad. The home guard, who informed about the accident, was also hit by a vehicle. The home guard narrowly escaped with minor injuries. Pargi police have registered a case and started investigation.
