A steel plant employee has committed suicide by hanging himself in a mango orchard in Gollapalam suburb of the zone. According to family members and police, Jajila Appala Ramesh (42), a resident of Vadlapudi Lakshmipuram Colony in Gajuwaka, is working as an employee at a steel plant. Uncle married daughter Neeraj 10 years ago. She is currently working as a VRVO. They have a three-year-old son. Ramesh has been away from his wife for years due to mental problems

Kodalu Neeraja, her father Avireddy Suryanarayana and Chinamama Avireddy Kanakarao have lodged a complaint with the police alleging that their son's death was caused by harassment.
