New Delhi: Police arrested a man in connection with child labour and also rescued six minors of Bihar , working in an industrial unit in northwest Delhi.
According to Milind Mahadeo Dumbere, DCP(north west), “Police and members of an NGO conducted a joint raid in which, they rescued, six minor children aged between 10 to 14 years who were occupied in assembling and packing of electric bulb holders in Rani Bagh. The boys then admitted to a shelter home for children at Mukat Asharam Nathupura.”
The accused who employed the boys identified as Contractor Yogender Paswan, belonged to Begusarai, has been detained.
