Today, police arrested a man for allegedly transporting 18 bovine animals illegally in Rajsamand district of Rajasthan. Locals informed the police as they spotted the truck carrying the cattle while it was stranded at Piplu-Udaipur road after it developed some glitch.
Police said, "One of the accused Lala Luhar has been arrested under the bovine animal act, while the other one managed to escape".
According to the police that the animals have been sent to cow shelter.
