Lucknow: A young man brutally murdered a friend in Ghaziabad and dumped his body in a well. The wife of the accused also supported him in the murder. The case is said to be from Kavinagar area of Ghaziabad. At present, the police have arrested the accused and are investigating the case.

Police said the deceased has been identified as 24-year-old Kushagra. He had been missing since December 29. Kushagra's family had told police that Kushagra was last seen with his friend Yogendra Chaudhary and his wife Pooja. The police then launched an investigation. Yogendra was arrested when he was suspected during the investigation by the police. On interrogation Yogendra said that he along with his wife had beaten Kushagra and then killed him. His body was then dumped in a well in Bapudham area.

Inquiries revealed that Kushagra had been killed in a transaction worth Rs 1800. Yogendra had also taken off a video that police have recovered from the accused's phone when Kushagra was attacked on the head with an iron rod. The video shows Kushagra bleeding and talking about going to the police station. However, just after that the video had stopped.
