Man offers help to an accident victim, got robbed

Noida: A man got robbed for of his valuables while he was trying to help an accident victim. The  24-year-old Rishabh Mandal got allegedly robbed when he offered help to an accident victim. He was duped and held captive for around two hours on Friday night.

The incident happened when Mandal was going back to his home. Mandal said that he was approached by a man after he got off an autorickshaw near the metro station at around 8 pm. The man who approached him asked for his help as he told him that his sister had met with an accident and was trapped in a car. Listening to this, Mandal followed him to a street nearby in order to offer his help. He further said that on getting suspicious,when he tried to leave he was blocked by a man from behind. Allegedly, one of the men pulled out a gun and held a knife to his neck. They took his phone, wallet and smartwatch. Accused  asked for more money. Allegeadly they took Rs 28,000 from the victim.

An FIR has been filed under Section 392 of the Indian Penal Court and investigation is underway.
