On the other hand, Mangal has written a letter to the chief minister Bhupesh Baghel of the province against the BJP complaining that he is being pressurised by the BJP to file a defamation case against the administration and the police. Rajnandgaon's Mang Lal Agarwal, who shared the video against the power department and the government, has written a letter to CM Bhupesh Baghel saying that several BJP leaders are pressuring me to file a defamation suit against the power department officials and the police.

Mangal Aggarwal also wrote a letter thanking CM Baghel and said, "In the case of video that was shared with me, CM Bhupesh Baghel has taken a major step by withdrawing the sedition case against me, but I have no intention of filing a defamation case. Yet many BJP leaders are pressuring me to contact me.
