Kurukshetra: A shocking incident is coming out of Kurukshetra, Haryana. Here, the dog bit a person, and then he, along with his son, shot the dog. After that, a person present there informed the police about the incident. A complaint was filed at the police station. In this case, the police registered a case under Section 429 of the IPC and arrested the criminal father-son duo. Although later released on bail. 

On Tuesday, the Kurukshetra police said that a case had been registered against a 67-year-old man and his son for shooting a dog. Satish Kumar Kapoor (67) and his son Shivam Kumar (27) were arrested in this case and later released on bail. Subhash Mandi Sub-Inspector Jasbir Singh said that an employee of the National Institute of Technology (NIT), Kurukshetra, had lodged a complaint on April 8 at Police Station Krishna Gate, Thanesar, alleging that a man shot a dog. Police said that on their complaint, a case was registered at Krishna Gate police station under the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Act, the Arms Act, and IPC Section 429 (killing or causing harm to cattle, etc.).

The police officer said that the dog had bitten the 67-year-old man when he was passing near the nursing home. Enraged, he went to his house, took his licenced gun, and reached the nursing home with his son. He then shot the dog and left the scene. The complainant present on the spot recorded a video of the entire incident on his mobile phone. The SI said that a motorcycle and a licenced gun have been seized from the culprit.
