It is being told that this case is of the Close North Society of Nirvana Country of Gurugram. Here Varun Nath, a resident of The Close North Society, was coming down from the 14th floor in the lift. During this, the lift stopped and he got stuck. At the same time, for help, he informed the security guard Ashok Kumar through the intercom installed in the lift. During this, Ashok reached the spot with the liftman and it took him five minutes to get Varun Nath out of the lift.

Angered by this, Varun Nath started beating the security guard as soon as he came out of the lift. In this case, security guard Ashok Kumar said, “I reported on duty at 7.50 pm on Sunday (August 28) and at the time of the incident I was posted at Tower 12 of the society. The next day a resident who was coming down at 7.20 am got stuck in lift number 1 due to a technical fault. The lift was stuck on the ground floor for 3-4 minutes. After leaving the lift, the resident started abusing me and threatened to kill me. It is not my fault, I informed my senior and the incident has been recorded on CCTV.

Apart from this, security guard Ashok Kumar said that as soon as he got information about the lift being stuck, he immediately contacted the lift operator. The lift operators had reached within 3-4 minutes and had opened the lift with the key. He further said- ''After coming out of the lift, the accused started slapping me.'' I told him, 'Sir, this is wrong. Why are you beating me? When the lift operator intervened, the accused slapped him too."

On the other hand, according to the police, the incident happened around 7.30 am on Monday, August 29. According to the police, an FIR has been registered against the accused under sections 323 (intentionally causing hurt to any person) and 506 (criminal intimidation) of the IPC at Sector 50 police station in Gurugram. According to the reports that surfaced, the accused who beat up the guard was arrested by the police and has been released on bail.
