Pune: An autorickshaw driver who took a bite of a Burger King’s at the Fergusson College road outlet landed in a hospital with a mouth full of blood . According to the report,  burger contained small pieces of glasses which wounded the Pathan's mouth and internal organs. He had to undergo a small surgery to treat the injuries caused by the glass pieces. 

According to a report in the Times of India (TOI), The victim was identified as Sajid Ajmuddin Pathan. He approached the police after which the Deccan Gymkhana police booked the branch manager, store manager and the customer service executive of the outlet for endangering the autorickshaw driver's life.

Meanwhile, Pathan told TOI as he took a bite he felt a sharp pain in his mouth and soon his mouth was bleeding profusely. Even when he cleaned using a tissue, the bleeding didn't stop. He then vomitted and it was full of blood. Meanwhile, the victim then checked the burger in front of the outlet officials and they saw several pieces of glasses in the burger. 

Reportedly, he was immediately rushed to a hospital on the FC Road and he was then shifted to a hospital on Karve Road where he was admitted for two days. He also had to undergo surgery to treat the injuries.

As per report, the people who have been booked for serving the burger have not been present on the premises.
