According to the latest reports The National Institutional Ranking Framework of Ministry of Human Resource Development has released the list top management institutes, colleges and universities in India for the year 2018. 

As per the latest rankings, the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Ahmedabad was ranked No 1. business schools in India followed by IIM-Bangalore, IIM-Calcutta, and IIM-Lucknow. The rankings were revealed by the union HRD minister Prakash Javadekar in New Delhi.

Here is the list of top 10 Management institutes in India 2018:

-Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Calcutta
-Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Lucknow
-Indian Institute of Technology, (IIT) Bombay

-Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Kharagpur
-Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Delhi
-Institute of Technology (IIT), Roorkee
-Xavier Labour Relations Institute, Jamshedpur

About - The Ministry of Human Resource Development, formerly Ministry of Education (until 25 September 1985), is responsible for the development of human resources in India.

The Ministry is divided into two departments: the Department of School Education and Literacy, which deals with primary, secondary and higher secondary education, adult education and literacy, and the Department of Higher Education, which deals with a the university education, technical education, scholarship etc. The erstwhile Ministry of Education now functions under these two departments, as of 26 September 1985.
