Mancherial police have arrested a three-member gang for cheating people of Rs 1.60 crore by cheating. Margoni Srinivasa Gaur, 42, a real estate businessman from Nagole, is a native of Nagapalli in Peddapalli, Nakka Raja Gyansagar (57) a native of Vijayawada and Gusukonda Ravikant Sharma (44) of Saroornagar, the three men from Kothadum, Warangal, Hyderabad, Around 25 people of Manuguru, Bhupalpally and Peddapalli cheated and extorted Rs 1.60 crore from them

Police said Srinivas Gaur colluded with Sharma in defrauding the employees of Singareni Colliery. The two hatch a plan to cheat the employees on the pretext of medical unit as the rules of the Singareni Colliery provide jobs to their dependents if they are found medically unfit.

Taking advantage of this, the police said that Srinivas, Sharma and Gyansagar started luring people with jobs and got about 25 people from Singareni employees of Kothadum, Warangal, Hyderabad, Manuguru, Bhupalpalli, Peddapalli, Mancherial and Mandamari areas. I started robbing them of money by engaging in it.
