After sustained criticism about helping Nara Lokesh in Mangalagiri, Janasena Party has decided to field its candidate.  As we know Jana Sena has formed an alliance with Left Parties and Bahujan Samaj Party, as part of the poll pact, the Mangalagiri ticket was allotted to CPI party. Pawan Kalyan has shocked the Communist Party by putting up the candidate while CPI candidate Muppalla Nageswara Rao. Janasena has handed over the B-form to its candidate last night and Srinivas will be filing his nomination today which is the last day for nominations.

Muppala Nageswara Rao of CPI even got ready to file his nomination. But in the last minute, Pawan changed his mind and announced Challapalli Srinivas as Jana Sena candidate for Mangalagiri constituency. CPI is said to be upset with this and is getting ready to sort it out with Pawan Kalyan. CPI's candidate Muppala Nageswara Rao is furious on Pawan's last minute decision and alleged that Jana Sena had deceived the poll pact. Lokesh is taking on YSR Congress’ Sitting MLA, Alla Rama Krishna Reddy in Mangalagiri. Alla won the 2014 elections with just 12 Votes. Both Lokesh and Alla are already canvassing aggressively in Mangalagiri and with this last minute decision, Janasena Candidate will do a lot of catching up.
