On 19/03/2019, Mangalore University announced Job notification to hire candidates who completed M.Sc for the position of Junior Research Fellow/ Project Fellow. Applications have been invited for the post of Junior Research Fellow/Project Fellow under a research project sanctioned to the Centre for Advanced Research in Environmental Radioactivity (CARER), Mangalore University.

The project titled “Validation of Liquid Scintillation Spectrometry Based Carbon-14 (14C) Measurements Techniques by AMS and Development of Reference Materials for Environmental Monitoring Applications around Nuclear Power Plants” is awarded from Inter University Accelerator Centre (IUAC), New Delhi.

Candidates who have obtained MSc degree in Physics (with first class marks and preferably specialization in Nuclear/Radiation Physics) and interested in working in this project may apply.

Emoluments: Rs. 16,000/- p.m. for initial 2 years and Rs. 18,000/- p.m. for the third year (for GATE/NET candidates) OR Rs. 14,000 p.m. for initial 2 years and Rs. 16,000/- p.m. for the third year (for non-GATE/non-NET candidates)
