Security personnel have found a large cache of weapons and other warlike stores from Manipur's Noney area ahead of the Assembly elections.
According to a tweet from the Assam Rifles, troops from the Noney Battalion initiated an operation based on intelligence inputs and retrieved the weapons on Saturday.

Among the items recovered are a 9mm pistol with magazine, 12 rounds of 7.62 mm ammunition, and one magazine M-16 rifle.
