New Delhi: The internal strife in the Congress, which has lost its power in many states and hurt by the frequent resignations of strong leaders of the party, is still not ending. Few days have passed since Ghulam Nabi Azad left the party. Meanwhile, Manish Tewari, one of the disgruntled leaders of the party, has also raised his voice of protest in the Congress.

Lok Sabha MP and leader of Congress' rebel group G-23 Manish Tewari has objected to not making public the names of voters for the party president's election, saying it should be published on the AICC website to ensure transparency. Manish Tewari also asked that why should anyone who intends to contest the election of Congress President go to the PCC office to get the voter list, as such a club doesn't happen even in elections?

Questioning the fairness in the Congress party's presidential election, Manish Tewari wrote in a tweet that, 'With great respect Madhusudan Mistry (Chairman of the Central Election Authority of Congress) ji, what is a fair and free election without a publicly available voter list? The essence of a fair and independent process is that the names and addresses of voters should be published on the Congress website in a transparent manner.'
