Today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is addressing the people of the country through the radio programme 'Mann Ki Baat'. You must all know that the Mann ki Baat programme is prime minister Modi's monthly radio address. Speaking at the function today, he mentioned the Amrit Mahotsav programme of Independence. First of all, PM Modi said, "Amrit Mahotsav inspires. The Amrut Mahotsav of Independence is being celebrated from Panchayat to Parliament. PM Modi further said, "The country also celebrates Navy Day and Armed Force Flag Day in the month of December. We all know that the country is also celebrating the golden jubilee year of the 1971 war on 16th December. I remember the security forces of the country on all these occasions, remember our heroes. ''

He said, "Amrit Mahotsav inspires us to learn and do something for the country. Now, whether it is the common people or governments, from panchayats to parliament, there is an echo of the Amrit Mahotsav and there is a continuous stream of programmes related to this festival. In view of the contribution of its tribal community to freedom, the country has also celebrated Tribal Pride Week. Programmes related to this were also held in different parts of the country. In the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, people from tribal communities like Jarawa and Onge displayed their culture lively. ''

Earlier in the Mann Ki Baat programme aired on 24th October, PM Modi had emphasized 'Swachh Bharat Abhiyan' and digitization of land. During the event, PM Modi had said that India is the first country in the world to create a digital record of land in its villages with the help of drones.
