Monday; June 27, 2016: Manohar Parrikar, Defence Minister was in Odisha to attend BJP's Vikash Ustav in Cuttack on completion of two years of the NDA government has said, “financial inclusion is the biggest success of the NDA government at the Centre.”

Yesterday, the Defence Minister said, “ there are several successes of the Modi government in the last two years, but the financial inclusion is the greatest success.21.7 crore bank accounts were opened within five-six months with zero balance and 70 % of them have already deposited 37,700 crore rupees in banks”

As per the Parrikar added, “ in response to Prime Minister Narendra Modi's appeal to well-to-do families to give up gas subsidy, 1.20 crore people have given up gas subsidy. Many poor families are now getting benefits from the Ujjwala scheme”

He said, “Mr Modi is the first Prime Minister who has come out to give account of his government to people after completion of two years in office”..
