Panaji: Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant said on Friday that former Manohar Parrikar, former CM of the state, gave him his impetus. With this, he works for 15-16 hours daily. Sawant said this while addressing a function organized to launch the poster of a biopic on the late Parrikar. This biopic is being made by 'Go Goa Bollywood Productions'. Manohar Parrikar's brother Oudhut and son Utpal were also present during the ceremony.

It has been learned that the film is planned to be released on December 13 next year on the birth anniversary of the late leader. According to the makers of the film, it will be made in Hindi and Konkani. Significantly, popular leader Manohar Parrikar died in March this year. He was suffering from pancreatic cancer for a long time. Parrikar was also the Defense Minister in the last term of the Modi government. Speaking on the birth anniversary of the former chief minister, Sawant said, 'Bhai (Parrikar) told the youth there during the inauguration of a bridge over the Mandovi river, How is the Josh (Uri the Surgical, a film on the surgical strike after the Uri attack Strike's famous punch line). Chief Minister Sawant, 46, said, "These were Parrikar's last words. He actually gave his passion to all the youth who were present there including me. That's why I can work for 15-16 hours a day.
