Radhakant Bajpayee, father of famous Bollywood superstar Manoj Bajpayee, passed away on Sunday morning. He had been ill for a long time. Radhakant Bajpai, 85, was undergoing treatment at a Hospital in Delhi. He breathed his last today. Manoj Bajpayee had left the shooting of his film in Kerala and reached Delhi after receiving the news of the sad demise of his father.

 Manoj was deeply attached to his father. The death of Manoj Bajpayee's father was confirmed by 'SHE' director Avinash Das on his Twitter. He wrote a tweet with a photo: 'Manoj Bhaiya's father is no more. Missing the moments spent with them. I took this photo at The Bhitiharwa Ashram. There were men with great patience. Always distanced himself from a touch of his son's glory. 

The news of the death of Radhakant Bajpai has caused mourning in Belwa in The Gonaha block, the native village of Bollywood actor. Villagers said actor's father was very kind and helpful to the poor. He had been in poor health for nearly several months now. He was recently admitted to a hospital in Delhi. The late has three sons, the eldest of which is Manoj Bajpayee. Manoj's father has helped him to reach Mumbai for his acting career.
