Srinagar: Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha will launch a website for Kashmiri Pandits today i.e. Tuesday. With the help of this online portal, displaced Kashmiri Pandits can lodge complaints related to immovable and community property. This website will get a unique ID after the application. The complaint will then go to the concerned district magistrate from where the action will begin.

It has also been informed that for any information in this regard, the Office of the Commissioner of Relief and Rehabilitation can contact 0191-2586218 and 0191-2585458. The Central and State Governments are constantly trying to get the return of Kashmiri displaced persons to the state. Sinha had recently issued appropriate instructions terming registration as necessary for Kashmiri Pandit families desirous of returning to the Valley. In such a case, Kashmiri displaced persons settled at home and abroad can also register online with the Relief and Rehabilitation Department.

Tell you that by the end of June, 98,600 Kashmiri migrants have been given housing certificates. Officials had said that 90,430 housing certificates were issued to Kashmiri Pandits. While 2,340 families of displaced Kashmiris were registered as new migrants. Of them, 8,170 people were given housing certificates.
