Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya said on Thursday that the government has launched an inquiry into the report claiming that fake doses of the Covishield vaccine have been recovered. "There has been a claim that fake Covishield vaccines are being sold in the country," he told reporters in Rajkot. The Government of India is investigating these claims and action will be taken if found to be true. The report of the recovered fake vaccine cited the World Health Organization.
