Even though the government has introduced the SC-ST Amendment Act Bill in Lok Sabha, in spite of this, many Dalit organizations have declared Bharat Bandh today. But along with the All India Ambedkar Mahasabha, some other parties have separated themselves from this band. Regardless of where the police-administration is claiming extortion, where there is hope of a stirring offense.
High alert has been issued throughout Uttar Pradesh, given due to bharat bandh. At the same time, strict security arrangements have been made by the administration on railway, airports, major religious places. Seeing the bharat bandh, the Madhya Pradesh Police is also on high alert. In many districts, the administration has imposed Section-144. There was heavy violence in some areas including Madhya Pradesh's Bhind during last year's batch of Dalit organizations.

The Dalit community is pressurizing the central government for its demands and in order to reach its message to the government, the community workers will present many busy roads, exhibitions and rallies in Delhi including Connaught Place of Delhi.

Those who have spread rumors through social media will be taken into notice. DIG Law and Order Praveen Kumar said that Thursday (August 9th) is not a situation like Bharat bandh but instructions have been given to take widespread caution due to the appeal of some organizations. There are more crowds in some districts of Western Uttar Pradesh, hence there is already a Force Alert. Apart from PAC in these districts have been given, the deployment of central paramilitary forces is also there.

Governments have instructed to take special vigilance regarding the closure of the various call centers called by various organizations today. These instructions have been given after getting the input from the intelligence agencies. Earlier it was called for a demand for change in the Act in relation to the immediate arrest of SC ST-related cases. But this issue was over after the bill brought by the central government to the bill in relation to the change in the Act. But intelligence agencies are apprehensive about messages running on social media.

Intelligence agencies have alerted both the police and the administration about the closure of different organizations in different areas.
