Kolkata: West Bengal CM Mamta Banerjee has extended the lockdown in the state till 31 August in view of the increasing cases of Corona epidemic. During this time, complete lockdown will be applicable two days a week. In view of the complete lockdown in Bengal, Eastern Railway has canceled many special trains of the state. Explain that the entire lockdown will continue in the state on August 8, 9, 16, 17, 23, 24 and 31.
According to the Railways, in view of the increasing cases of corona infection in West Bengal, the trains have been canceled due to the entire weekly lockdown applicable. According to Eastern Railway, the Howrah-New Delhi Rajdhani Special and Howrah-New Delhi Purva Express, which ran on August 8, have also been canceled. According to Railways, Howrah Rajdhani Express, Howrah-New Delhi Purva Express, Howrah-Jodhpur Express and Kolkata-Amritsar Durgiana Express have been canceled for 8 August. Howrah-Jodhpur Express train will not run due to complete lockdown on 8 August in West Bengal.
