Dehradun: DIG has sent police team to Bareilly and Lucknow to interrogate the 50Maoist Khim Singh Bora, who was arrested by the Uttar Pradesh ATS. The team will file a warrant to bring Khim Singh to Uttarakhand after interrogation. In 2017, Uttarakhand Police had announced a reward of 50,000 rupees on Khim Singh. More than four cases have been registered against him in Nainital, Almora and Udhamsingh Nagar.

The concern for the intelligence and Uttarakhand police is whether Khima was alone here or his gang is planning to go underground and carry out his work. In fact, there is a whole team from Khima with which they have been making their presence in the mountains and lowlands of Uttarakhand. In the 2017 assembly elections, Khaim Singh Bora and his people were involved in the fire in Tehsildar's vehicle in Almora. In Udhamsingh Nagar, Uttarakhand Police had broken the network of Maoists by conducting a special operation in 2006-07.
