In 2016, Marathi director Nagraj Manjule's superhit film Sairat ruled the box office and broke many records. The film, which touched upon the sensitive subject of honour killing, saw Rinku Rajguru and Akash Thosar as Archi and Parshya respectively. The actors not only made for a hit Jodi but their actions made many falls in love and root for them. Since then, Fans have been waiting for the two to make a comeback together and director Nagraj Manjule may have just fulfilled it.   

From Source Report, the Sairat couple will reunite for the director's debut Hindi movie, “Jhund” story based on the life of Vijay Barse, the founder of Slum Soccer. In Movie, casting features as Amitabh Bachchan will be in the lead role. In the film, Bachchan plays the role of a professor who motivates street children and initiates a football team. Rinku and Akash will be cast opposite each other and are touted to play the role of soccer players hailing from the slums.

According to the grapevine, the two actors have already started shooting for the movie in Nagpur. Amitabh shared a few pictures from the film’s location shoot it seems like a village setting and the 'Piku' actor loved the village vibe.

Along with the leads of Sairat, the makers have also got on board Chhaya Kadam who played Suman aka n Sairat. She will play Amitabh's on-screen wife in the movie.
