Like every Amavasya, the Amavasya of the month of Margasirsha is also of special importance. It is also known as Aghan Amavasya. In the Scriptures, the date of Amavasya is considered dedicated to the fathers. This date is considered very auspicious for doing any work related to the fathers. Special importance has been given to worship, bathing, charity, etc. The Aghan Amavasya will fall on Saturday, December 4. According to religious belief, river bathing, charity, on the day of Amavasya, remove sins and get rid of debt. The Amavasya date will start from 04.58 pm on 3rd December 2021 and will continue till 01.15 pm on 4th December 2021. Being the Amavasya date on Saturday, it will be known as Shanaishari Amavasya. According to the astrologer, you must do three tasks on 4th December. This can solve all the difficulties in your life.
Take bath and meditate on Narayan:-
Bathing in holy rivers is important on Amavasya. But if you can't go to the river bank for a bath, put Ganga water in a pot and add normal water to it and take a bath. Remember the holy rivers in your mind while taking a bath. By doing so, one gets the same virtuous fruits as the pilgrimage bath. After taking a bath, you should worship Shri Hari. Their mantras should be chanted and the Gita should be recited. This removes all suffering.
Do incense-meditation for the fathers:-
Tarpan, Pinddan and Shradh are also performed on the Amavasya date for the self-satisfaction of the fathers. In the horoscope, if this date is also considered auspicious for the prevention of pitra dosh. You should meditate on this Amavasya at around 12 noon for the fathers. For this, light dung and when the smoke stops coming out, add jaggery and ghee to the embers and give incense. Meditate on the fathers while giving incense. Recite chapter 7 of the Gita for the liberation of the fathers and donate to the needy according to your ability.
Worship Shani Dev;-
Being a combination of Amavasya and Saturday, it will be called Shanaishari Amavasya. Special worship of Shani dev on this day can also relieve the sufferings of Shani Saadhasati and Dhaiya. You donate mustard oil on the day of Amavasya. Om Shanaishcharaya Namah:: Chant the mantra at least 108 times. Light a mustard oil lamp under the people. Donate anything like black sesame seeds, black dal, black cloth and black blankets to a needy person as per your capacity.
