Markaz Case: Delhi crime branch to file 12 charge sheets against Jamaat today

New Delhi: Delhi Police is going to file 14 charge sheets on Friday, in which 12 charge sheets will be filed against Tablighi Jamaat in Nizamuddin Markaz case, while 2 other charge sheets will be filed against Tahir Hussain. A charge sheet has been filed against Tahir Hussain in the violence erupted in the North East area of Delhi in February.

The crime branch team of Delhi Police will file 12 charge sheet against foreign deposits in Markaz case today. These 12 charge sheets will be filed against 41 foreign depositors who are residents of 12 different countries. During the investigation, 915 foreigners were charged through 47 charge sheets filed in the court on 26, 27 and 28 on behalf of Delhi Police. In this way, the total number of charge sheets from Delhi Police, in this case, will be 59. In all, cases have been registered against 956 foreign nationals from 31 different countries in these charge sheets.

On 31 March, the SHO of Hazrat Nizamuddin Police Station, in a written complaint to the DCP of the crime branch, accused the people of Tablighi Jamaat of escalating the epidemic in Hazrat Nizamuddin during the Corona transition. The police crime branch team has also filed 2 charge sheets on the violence that took place in February. Both the charge sheets are filed against Tahir Hussain.
