Indian markets moved into a positive trajectory on Tuesday's session with Sensex racing towards reclaiming 51,000-mark. While Nifty 50 has topped more than 15,110-level at around 10 am.. A broad-based buying was seen across sectoral indices with banking stocks outperforming.
Sensex gainers include HDFC Bank, Ultratech Cement and Asian Paint surging by nearly 2% each, while Stocks like Titan, Bajaj Finance, ICICI Bank, HDFC and Bajaj Finserv were also leading in trade. Nifty Bank also moves between gains and losses while Nifty PSU Bank was the outlier in trade.
Oil and gas stocks were in support today after crude futures surged to above $70 per barrel after there was an attack on the Saudi Arabia oil production facilities.
