MARUTI SALES PULL DOWN IN FEBRUARY DUE TO JAT RESERVATION

Leading car company of the country Maruti India Ltd face trouble in their production due to Jat Reservstion agitation. The makers of the Swift and desir models sold 108,115 units during the month compared with 107,892 units last year.

 On Tuesday company give the statement, “  During the month, reservation agitation had disrupted component supplies , causing temporary suspension of production of the company, adding in this they said production loss due to this is about 10000 units.”

The sales of the company dragged down by the 11.5 % for the mini models like Alto and Wagon R and other total passenger car sales is lay down by 3.7% over last year. Although export in February decreased with 12.4 % which is of 9336 units.

After the continue  sale of company from past 14 months came down in January. According to Indian Automobile Manufactures there is 169303 cars were sold in January which is 0.71 % of last year.

Finance minister Arun Jaitley announce to increase in cess on passenger vehicles as much by 4% during his budget speech on Monday.
