As we all know that with end of March, financial closer and calculation took place. With this many companies come up with financial report. In this context, Maruti Suzuki India reported an impressive growth of 94.24 per cent in domestic wholesales to 1,49,518 units in March 2021. The automobile manufacturer had sold 76,976 units in the domestic market in March 2020.

Let us share that the sales in the mini sub-segment (Alto and S-Presso) increased 54.20 per cent to 24,653 units in March 2021 from 15,988 units in the year-ago month. In the compact sub-segment (WagonR, Celerio, Swift, Dzire, Tour S, Ignis and Baleno), the sales jumped 102.90 per cent to 82,201 units in March 2021 from 40,519 units in the same month last year. However, there was a decline of 12.61 per cent in the mid-size sub-segment (Ciaz) sales to 1,628 units in March 2021 from 1,863 units in March 2020. 

In another hand, The utility vehicles sub-segment (Vitara Brezza, Ertiga, Gypsy, XL6 and S-Cross) witnessed a whopping rise of 119.87 per cent in sales to 26,174 units in March 2021 from 11,904 units in the year-ago month. In the vans sub-segment (Eeco), the sales grew 93.55 per cent to 11,547 units in March 2021 from 5,966 units in the same month last year. The sales in the light commercial vehicle category (Super Carry) expanded a massive 350.41 per cent to 3,315 units in March 2021 from 736 units in March 2020.
